Night SCUBA Dives

Night Diving is one of the most exciting ways to experience the underwater world. G+S Watersports offers dusk or night diving trips. Dusk trips leave at approximately 6:00PM. Night dive trips leave at approximately 7:00PM. Departure times may vary or could be cancelled due to weather and lake conditions. All night dives are single tank trips.

G+S Watersports recommends that you dive a wreck in the daytime before attempting to dive it at night.

Night Diving Equipment

Shore Diving

There are four (4) main spots available for shore diving, as well as snorkeling or swimming.  But anywhere along the shoreline of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron offers lots to see.

The Tugs:

  • 0-30' deep
  • Great for basic dives
  • A "must" for students and new divers
  • Perfect for non-divers to swim or snorkel with you
  • Fabulous underwater photo opportunities
  • Nice platform for take-off
  • Shipwrecks to explore
  • Washroom and change room at the site

The Anchor:

  • 60' deep
  • Accessed from the extreme north point of Highway #6
  • Also called the "Gap"
  • Great spot for advance courses

  • Incredible geological formations
